When I worked with a research forum event on campus, I realized that research posters were an extremely complicated work of design, left up to scientists and students without any resources to aid them. To help with this issue, I studied popular formats for research posters and distilled them to their most essential elements. I then designed 8 styles of posters, with 4 different layout options in each. Below is an example of one layout across the 8 styles.
