A full page infographic for the Texas Scientist magazine. This graphic illustrates a groundbreaking discovery that researchers made when studying the bovine virus that killed the University of Texas's last live mascot. They found that a particular protein, when introduced to the bovine virus cells, causes them to replicate. But when this same protein is introduced to human Hepatitis C cells, it does the opposite, it blocks the virus from replicating any further.
